For those involved in education refurbishments, August can feel like a bit of a warzone!

The six-week summer holiday creates a narrow window to upgrade school laboratories before students return, making it one of the busiest times of year for everyone involved.

At Velstone, it’s all hands to the deck as we manufacture and supply 25mm laboratory worktops for schools across the UK and overseas, working to tight deadlines to help keep projects on track.

It’s a demanding few weeks, but incredibly rewarding to know that when September arrives, thousands of students will return to modern laboratories designed to support learning for years to come.
