Good news from UK Plant Expo 2027 exhibitor 👇

The company has taken delivery of its first fully electric lorry, a DAF Trucks NV FA XD 220, which is now operating from its Strood depot supporting plant deliveries.

To mark its arrival, . E. Services - Plant Hire Ltd photographed the lorry carrying one of the company's 6 metre electric telehandlers. "An electric lorry transporting electric plant felt like a pretty fitting combination!"

H.E. Services has also installed an Ultra Rapid CCS charger at Strood and already operates electric es**rt vehicles, fitters vans and a growing range of electric plant.

It is another example of the investment being made across the H.E. Services business, and we are very pleased to have the company joining us at UK Plant Expo 2027.

One of our JCB 3CX backhoe loaders is on its way out to an H. E. Services customer, ready for another job on site.

The backhoe loader is arguably one of the more underrated machines in the fleet. One minute it's digging, the next it's loading, moving material or carrying out some groundwork. It's the sort of machine that can earn its place on site pretty quickly.
