Our partner KST Moschkau GmbH will be using the Tessera SQ200 to power its stand at IBC, showcasing LED processing designed for modern broadcast workflows. The Tessera SQ200 supports ST210 and IPMX protocols, including ST 2022-7 network redundancy.

What does it take to create a compelling avatar performance with high levels of realism, wit, charm and showcraft, but without the budget of a major commercial production?

Avatar Advancements tells the story of Unit 1 and its partners taking on exactly that challenge.
Working in collaboration with ROE Visual, Brompton Technology, Woodroffe Bassett Lighting Design, sound designer Richard Brooker and set designer Lee Newby, the Unit 1 team created a 15-minute avatar performance featuring artist KT Tunstall.

The result has already generated plenty of excitement among those lucky enough to see it.
At PLASA on Monday 7 September at 4.15pm, join Rob Fowler for a panel exploring how the team brought the performance to life, the technical challenges behind this emerging form of entertainment, and where avatar technology could take us next.

It’s summer, so we’re taking another trip down memory lane… ☀️

Back in 2019, Rod Stewart’s Blood Red Roses tour was one of the early productions to put the Tessera SX40’s 4K workflow to power an impressive architrave of 300 ROE Visual Carbon CB5 LED panels. It was also the first time Colonel Tom Touring implemented redundancy loops into the system.

Seven years later, the Tessera SX40 is still out there powering some of the industry’s most demanding productions.

Who remembers when 4K LED processing still felt like the new thing?

Our APAC team recently attended AOTO Electronics Cinematech Innovation & Trends Summit 2026, alongside the inaugural AOTO Golden Screen Awards Ceremony.

It was a great opportunity to connect with experts from across the film industry, including our partners DAVA Studio and VP Nordic, who took home a Gold Award and a $10,000 prize.
