Flannery Manchester Facility Prepares Hydrogen Excavators for Deployment!🌏⛽

The project has reached an exciting stage with the installation of the hydrogen tanks and control systems to the two Caterpillar 320 excavators at our facility in Manchester.

Previously, a Caterpillar 320 excavator was tested to determine diesel replacement percentage and identify the optimal hydrogen introduction without affecting engine performance. The installation involves mounting the tank assembly onto the excavators, connecting the hydrogen fuel management system to the engine, and installing the Human Machine Interface (HMI) in the cab for operator information.
