Richard’s Transporter T6: no shortcuts, no off the shelf fixes. 🔧

Every Transporter is different, and under the chassis, room is always tight. On this build, our usual mounting points simply weren’t an option, so we reworked our approach to suit the van and the way Richard uses it.

For the ride, he chose ABP Suspension with AccuAir control, mainly to keep that ABT front bumper safe. The extra travel means he can lift high enough to tackle steep ramps, bumps and bad roads with confidence, then drop to a clean, ground-hugging stance at the touch of a button.

Behind the scenes on our latest VW Transporter T6 build, showing exactly what it means to adapt, overcome, and deliver elite-tier engineering. If you know Transporters, you know that no two vans are ever the exact same. Between day-van conversions, custom camper layouts, and varying payloads, space underneath the chassis is always premium real estate. On this specific T6, our usual component mounting locations were completely off the table due to the unique layout of the build. But at Plush, we don’t do standard. We adapt our engineering to fit the client’s lifestyle, ensuring every piece of hardware integrates seamlessly without sacrificing utility.

To manage the ride, Richard chose the absolute number one name in the business: ABP Suspension, paired with iconic AccuAir management. The primary mission here?
