We’ve been busy behind the scenes producing custom CNC-machined components for the Miffy 70th Birthday exhibition—now showing at Leeds City Museum until September 2025.

As part of our commitment to working smarter, we’ve adopted the 4 Day Week as a long-term strategy to support wellbeing, sharpen focus, and invest in what matters most—our people.

What we need 📝
The CNC runs from vector files. If you provide DXF, DWG or AI files, we can get started straight away!

❕Generally we work with standard sheet sizes of 8 x 4" (AKA 2440mm x 1220mm).

So bear this in mind when you are setting out your design files.

An accessible friendly and personal service, here's what artist Sam Metz has to say about working with the CNC People team:

"Working with the CNC People has developed me as an artist. I have had ideas about where I have wanted to take my work, but I haven't always had a sense of how to realise those ideas fully. Liam and Tiz have been open to discussion and through working with them, I've been exposed to rich development in terms of use of materials and fabrication, enabling me to scale up my sculpture and consider new and interesting perspectives in terms of construction.

What I particularly like about working with the team is that they are open to discussion, in a generous and non-judgemental way. I value their ideas and expertise and this has led to person professional development as an artist.

They really take time to care about your work which I really appreciate. They've pointed things out in my drawings that I've not noticed before and suggested improvements. I've also really appreciated the quality, my work sometimes has quite complicated assembly, so the fabrication needs to have great tolerance which I can trust working with the CNC People.

As a disabled artist I've sometimes had barriers accessing workshop spaces and this has made me nervous working with fabricators in the past. What I love about working with the CNC People team is that they're so supportive and it's been invaluable to my work"
