We’re hiring a Head of Sales at Chippindale Plant.

This is a senior leadership role based in Leeds, working closely with the Managing Director to drive growth across the business.

You’ll be leading and developing a team of Area Sales Managers and Internal Sales Executives, building a high-performing sales function and strengthening relationships across our customer base. The role also involves identifying new opportunities across plant, tools, accommodation, attachments and capital sales.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in sales leadership, who can motivate a team, bring structure, and deliver consistent results. Experience within plant hire, construction, or a related industry would be a strong advantage.

We are pleased to welcome Mike Roby (left) as Sales Director and Leon Holywell (right) as Regional Operations Manager.

Mike brings over 15 years of senior sales leadership within the construction equipment sector. He understands what customers need on site and focuses on delivering the right solutions backed by strong service. With an MBA and a recent AI qualification, he also adds a modern, data driven approach to how we support our customers.

Leon joins with more than 25 years of experience in hire and sales, with a career that started back in 1998. He has built a strong reputation for improving operations, developing teams and driving performance across regions. His focus on safety, service and consistent delivery makes him a great fit for the business.

These appointments reflect our commitment to investing in the right people as we continue to grow and improve what we offer to our customers.

Yesterday was a good reminder that safety doesn’t happen by accident.

We took the time to slow things down, talk through real risks we see on site, and focus on how we can all go home safely at the end of the day. The conversations were honest and practical, exactly how they should be.
