Last Sunday we kicked off our summer tournaments with a great day of football at Barrow Wanderers.
With a small squad available, we weren’t sure what to expect—but the team stepped up brilliantly.
We started strongly, winning our first two games and drawing the third in a tough opening run of fixtures. After a well-earned break, we continued to battle, picking up two more draws before facing a strong side and taking our first defeat.
That set up a tense final group game, with three teams still in contention. The team dug deep and secured second place in the group — earning a spot in the Cup Final.
In the final, we faced the same team that had beaten us earlier. Despite playing some of our best football of the day, we narrowly missed out and finished as Under 13 runners-up 🥈
A fantastic team performance from everyone involved — full effort, great attitude, and plenty of positives to build on.
