Last week we had the pleasure of manufacturing and installing this bespoke van kit for a returning customer. After specifying his requirements we provided a 3D CAD model of the finished product to ensure it was exactly what he expected before production was started. This kit is fully powder coated and we also installed the special floor which was nicely finished with colour coded trims.

Busy day today! Our existing AMADA punch press has been moved across to the new building and with it, the addition of a new automated sheet loader. This will enable the machine to run 24/7 if required. Credit to Charles Russell Transport and Amada for their excellent service.

Today we are taking delivery of a Salvagnini P2 which will be our first automated panel bending machine. This machine will transform our bending capability and increase capacity. This will enable us to produce a more diverse range of products with a shorter lead time.

07/10/2024

Work is well under way on our new building which will provide space for the new equipment arriving in December. The investment in automated sheet metal profiling and bending machinery will increase productivity and reduce lead times. A new warehouse facility will also enable stock Van Racking and Accessories to be dispatched off the shelf at the point of order. Phase two of the automation and productivity drive will commence in 2025 with the addition of an online powder coating plant.

Exciting day today as we take delivery of a new Amada CNC punch. The machine is fully electric which is more economical than the older hydraulic machines. Looking forward to seeing it running in a couple of days. Big thanks to Richard Philips for preparing the site for the machine at short notice. More pictures to follow as the installation progresses.
