🐾DOG HOTEL BUILD UPDATE 🐾

So I haven’t done one of these for a while!

Here she is, today.

Doesn’t look like a lot but trust me they’ve all been busy bees getting the frame done (MIBEX LTD) , then the groundwork’s etc (Ali Knowles)!

This coming week our block and beam floor is arriving and the next week the MTW Joinery & Building team are coming in to do the rest of the ‘building’ bit’ …

We also have had the team from Wanwood Hill Livestock & Fencing here to make a plan for all that, and the lovely people at are coming next week to put our new cables in!

Then there’s all the little decisions and purchases we are starting to make, like choosing the flooring, and deciding what colour I’m going to paint the walls, and choosing names for the suites?! My brain is fried but we are so excited 💙

We are hoping the weather will be kind so if you can do a sun dance then now is the time! ☀️

Well we’ve been busy little bees 🐝 here at Mibex HQ. It’s been a long time since we posted last so here’s some pics from some of the recent jobs.
Over 15 tons of fabrication works have left our workshop in the last 5 weeks, on top of all the repairs and site work.

We’ve welded steel, cast iron, stainless steel and aluminium, we’ve machined parts and overhauled valuable equipment, installed a full steelwork building and to top it off we’re now expert painters 👨‍🎨

Many thanks as always to MR Cook Construction for getting our jobs off to their new homes.

Cheeky little job between steel work fabrication.

This trailer carries a very old Citroen van to events. Unfortunately, the existing ramps were only 300mm wide, not easy to slide out or man handle and it was difficult to load the Citroen.

We designed and fabricated some larger hinged ramps making it super easy to load.

What a lovely day to finish it off outside in the afternoon sun 🌞

How do we get handrail joints at perfect angles?

Profiling tubes at angles by hand to weld together is extremely time consuming! See a finished profile in comments.
Using a milling machine we ensure accuracy and efficiency cutting down the time dramatically!

Mibex Engineering would like to give a great big shout out to our very own Tony Fox who is already a national fishing champion 🏆 and has just qualified for the England Team 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏅 🎣

Even though Tony is very modest about it all, we are super proud of Tony’s achievements, after all the dedication and tenacity, it must be amazing to be at the pinnacle of your sport.

Well done Foxy, we’ll buy you a breakfast next week😉

We have been busy here at Mibex HQ.

One huge stairway built for a client being pre assembled prior to delivery.

Extra wide at 1.2 metres as it’s access to a storage facility so it’s easy to carry fairly large items/boxes up it. Fully galvanised for durability.
