In September, Sarah Gbenoba, Trueform’s Social Value Coordinator, attended the The Woodland Trust’s Business in Nature event at Langley Vale Wood as part of Trueform’s ongoing partnership with the Woodland Trust.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with other businesses, learn more about the Woodland Trust’s work and explore how organisations can support nature, the environment and local communities.

Set within the beautiful surroundings of Langley Vale Wood and the North Downs, the day offered opportunities for learning, networking and sharing ideas around business engagement with nature.

It was great to continue strengthening Trueform’s partnership with the Woodland Trust and gain further inspiration for how Trueform can support meaningful environmental and social value outcomes.

Trueform has officially taken the keys to our new Northeast depot at Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead, marking an exciting milestone ahead of the commencement of our bus shelter manufacture and installation project with Nexus.

Located on Kingsway North, Team Valley is one of the region’s largest and most established business locations, providing an ideal base for our growing operations across the Northeast.

Establishing a permanent presence in the Northeast is an important step for Trueform. Being closer to our customers and projects allows us to respond more effectively to regional demand, strengthen our service offering and provide the local presence needed to support existing relationships and develop new business opportunities.

The depot also gives us the capacity and infrastructure to support future growth across the region, bringing our manufacturing, assembly, installation and operational capabilities closer to where they are needed.

Since receiving the keys, there has been a huge amount of work taking place behind the scenes to transform the facility from a blank canvas into a fully operational hub.

We have six Installation Engineers who will form the core of our Assembly and Installation teams, complete with vehicles, plant, equipment, systems and infrastructure in place to support them.

Our Hayes manufacturing & technology facility will continue to manufacture the sub-level component parts, which will then be transported to Gateshead, where the shelters will be assembled and prepared before being deployed across the region.

An important new operational hub for Trueform, supporting the delivery of major projects, meeting customer demand and creating a platform for further growth across the Northeast.

Our CEO, Jonathan Morley, is joining our US team this week on our exhibition stand at APTA TRANSform EXPO, Chicago.

The event is a great opportunity to connect with transit agencies, operators, infrastructure specialists and industry partners from across the US and beyond and discuss the future of public transport infrastructure.
