From 3 people and 1 van to a team of 15 and 6 delivery vehicles. Spray Centre UK Limited has come a long way since 1983!

Based in Sheffield, the business started life as a small paint distributor. More than 40 years later, it's grown into a specialist supplier of coatings, consumables and equipment, with premises that have doubled in size along the way.

But there's something that's stayed the same. A real focus on looking after customers.

For the Spray Centre team, it's about much more than getting products out of the door. It's knowing the products, understanding the challenges customers face and taking the time to find the right solution. That approach has helped build some fantastic relationships over the years. Customers aren't just customers, they're considered part of the Spray Centre family.

Today, the team works across automotive crash repair, commercial transport and industrial coatings. It's a specialist approach that helps them stay close to the latest products, processes and technology, with a particular focus on colour accuracy, efficiency and reliability.

A brilliant weekend in Dublin for our Distributor Partner, Shop BodyShop Direct, at the Auto Trade EXPO! 👏

The SBD team were out in force at the RDS Simmonscourt, joined by our Supply Partners SINNEK and Norton Abrasives. There was plenty happening across the Shop Bodyshop Direct × TIDAL stand - exclusive show offers, a giveaway, a cocktail bar and most importantly, lots of great conversations with people from across the industry. It was a successful couple of days, with strong sales, plenty of enquiries and a fantastic response from visitors to the stand.

A huge well done to everyone at Shop Bodyshop Direct for putting on such a fantastic show, and a big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello! 💙

Allparts Refinishing has a cycling champ in their ranks. A huge congratulations to Steve Paver from TIDAL distributor Allparts Refinishing, who has been crowned British Over 60 Veteran Cycle Speedway Champion! 🚴

Steve has been competing in Cycle Speedway for many years, representing both England & Great Britain at international level, but the British title was the one that had always eluded him. Not anymore!

If you're unfamiliar with Cycle Speedway, it’s a fast form of track cycling, with four riders racing four laps around a shale track, all without brakes! 🫣

The first TIDAL van is officially on the road courtesy of the team at Spray Centre UK Limited.

It’s the first of our new liveried vans which will begin rolling out across TIDAL distributors over the coming months, giving the Alliance an increasingly recognisable presence out on the road.

Independent businesses. A shared identity. And a few more TIDAL logos heading out into the wild! It's great to see the first one finished and looking the part. 🙌

A big welcome to Tiya who has recently joined Berkshire Parts and Panels Ltd as their new Business Development Manager 👋

Tiya has been with the team for just over a month and is already getting stuck in, spending time out with customers, putting names to faces and building relationships across the BPP customer base. She brings a strong customer service background with her and that feels like a really good fit for BPP. Having Tiya out on the road gives the team more time with customers, more opportunity to understand what they need and another familiar face representing the business day to day.

Paul is delighted to have her on board too and says Tiya’s friendly, positive personality has already made a real impression and will be a great addition to the customer experience at BPP.

Speaking to Tiya, you can tell she’s settled in quickly. She talked really warmly about the family feel at BPP and how much she’s enjoyed joining a business where looking after the customer really matters.

Shop BodyShop Direct started life back in 2001/02 as a small van sales operation, supplying products directly to end users. A lot has changed since then…

The team has grown, the product range has expanded and so has the customer base, but they've stayed firmly focused on what they know best: automotive refinish.
