2013 kia sportage in friday for a full service and code reading as car would suddenly cutout whilst driving.
*diagnostics scanned and found one coded being low fuel pressure. (Fuel filter at fault)
Carried out full sevice:
Replacing:
*air filter
*pollen filter
*engine oil and oil filter
*fuel filter
*Checked all fluod levels and topped up where required.
This kia had only cover 65000 miles and is now ready to smash through a load more!

Mini cooper s in with us at MB Automotive for a headgasket and cylinder head replacement along with a full supercharger service as this vehicle was just over the service interval.
*full supercharger service carried out using mar motorsport's sevice kit.
*head gasket replace with all new gaskets fitting to the cylinder head and sorrounding areas.
*new oil and oil filter.
*coolant system flushed and filled with new coolant.
*new gasket and seals fitted to timing chain cover.
*old oil drained from the supercharger and re-filled with new along with new gaskets and seals fitted.
And a few parts cleaned and painted whilst they were off making it all look alot nicer and cleaner under the bonnet.
Another job done here and MB Automotive.

Today at the MB Automotive workshop we had this stunning 2010 volkswagen caddy in for;
*rear brake pads replacement
*TRC side skirt fitting
And centre section and backbox delete fitting

Those TRC sideskirts really do compliment this van even more!

Another job done at MB Automotive
Land rover freelander 2 in for replacement of both steering arm boots as had been chewed up. Both replaced and diagnosed nearside front cv boot was damaged preventing the ingress of dirt, so fitted and replaced with a new cv boot.
Another vehicle fixed and ready for mot!

Peugeot 207 house visit tonight at MB Automotive for an anti pollution fault warning on the dashboard.
We carried out;

* diagnose why 'Anti pollution' warning was showing fault (thermostat at fault)
*diagnose misfire
*Check spark plugs
*fit new thermostat and housing
* fill with new coolant
*bleed coolant system
* check error code with code reader.

Another happy customer and another vehicle back on the road sorted by MB Automotive!

Vauxhall corsa D in today at MB Automotive, with an engine oil leak we diagnosed was coming from the oil filter housing.
Oil filter housing seal replaced
Engine oil and filter replaced
And all leaked oil cleaned!
One more happy customer glad she won't be leaving oil stains on her driveway anymore!

Yesterday's job at MB Automotive, an agricultural trailer use to move horse manure around. Rust areas the owner was worried about as the bed of the trailer has to be walked on and he had fears someone could fall through. All three areas cut out and new 3mm metal welded in there place then painted for protection. Don't think anyone will be falling through them plates any time soon! One more job complete and another happy customer with the fear of anyone falling through his trailer!

Mini cooper in at MB Automotive saturday just gone, for a rear control arm bush and on inspection drop link was also faulty the same side . This was causing the offside front wheel to move around 3 inches forward and backwards. Another car back on the road and another happy customer!
