📢 We’re hiring!

Roberts Group is looking for an experienced Bendi/Pivot Steer Forklift Driver to join our team in Flint, North Wales.

🕒 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Please note, this role operates on a split shift pattern on alternate weeks.

💰 Starting salary: £13.98 per hour, rising to £14.76 per hour after 12 months, plus an attendance bonus.

We’re looking for someone with a valid FLT licence, proven experience operating a Bendi/Pivot Steer Forklift Truck, and previous warehouse or logistics experience.

The role will include:
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving and replenishing stock
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Carrying out daily safety inspections
• Receiving and checking deliveries
• Operating the Warehouse Management System
• Supporting stock counts, returns and general warehouse operations

What a fantastic morning for our annual Mid-Year Business Update! 👏

We kicked things off with a company update presented by Nick, Patrick, Mike and Tracey, reflecting on our progress and looking ahead to our priorities for the rest of the year. Finishing the morning with a friendly competition of mini-golf and fish and chips! ⛳🐟🍟

These company-wide meetings are an important opportunity to bring everyone together, align our goals across the business and ensure we’re all working towards the same shared objectives.

Last week, Craig, Rory, Nick and Mike took part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge in support of Macmillan Cancer Support ⛳

The challenge involved completing 72 holes of golf in a single day — the equivalent of 4 full rounds and around 26 miles of walking. It was a real test of patience, endurance and skill.

With over £670 raised so far, we’re proud to be supporting such an important cause and would greatly appreciate any further donations towards their challenge.

Reluctantly, due to the Amber Weather Warning in place, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Macmillan 72 Hole Golf Challenge.

While we were looking forward to taking on the challenge, the safety of our team must come first. We do not wish to put anyone at unnecessary risk, nor burden the emergency services should an incident occur.

The challenge has now been rescheduled and will take place on Monday 28th July. (Probably in the rain!)
