Well done to the team from Gilmar Engineering who braved heavy rain, thunder and lightening to compete in and raise money for the Ellon Pedal Car Race.
Unfortunately an early crash wrecked the car - but won the "Best Race Moment" trophy !
Not to give up - the guys commandeered an abandoned "un-ride-able" car and continued logging laps - despite picking up a puncture after a few laps.
Good never give in spirit !
