About to set off on a road trip to the Nürburgring, Stephen's roof cable snapped😬
Anxious of postal time and fitting, quickly arranged to pick up a new V2 cable and have a little help fitting it. A bit stubborn to get in with narrow stitching on this hood, but all good in the end.

Customer wing repair and mods. Seized aluminium bolts preventing removal of winglets and loose end cap at one end. Customer wants removable end caps (rather than adhesive) and better fixings.
Removed and re-tapped threads and clean up parts.
3D print mock up of fastening solution, machined up new parts, and assemble with new fasteners and Duralac.

Prototype Elan wheel spinner tool
