The team are once again seeking solace from the heat and grateful of the business we're in - this time they're in the Finished Goods Chiller of a Butchery unit!

Fitted with food-safe shelving, Tonon Srl rail system, a split system chiller and its own entrance it is set to become a shared community asset for local producers.

Last year we delivered a 10.5mtr Butchery to our client in Hertfordshire.

It had a freezer at one end and a finished goods chiller at the other, with food-safe shelving in both, and the Butchery in the middle.

It was also equipped with a Tonon Srl rail system and a number of stainless steel and poly-top tables.

The exterior was fully clad for aesthetics and had a vision panel in the Butchery for a pleasant working environment.

Some of you might even have had an in-person tour of it at Groundswell Agriculture 2025!

It takes a team!

It’s been a busy week in the factory as the Food Projects manufacturing team continue works on the 4 bay Butchery and Farm Shop.

Also present have been our team of local sub-contractors, with thanks to :

🟢SJS Flooring. for laying the Altro vinyl
🟢East Yorkshire Shutters Ltd for the roller shutter door
🟢CLM Electrics for installing and commissioning the electrics
🟢AFR Refrigeration for commissioning the intake chiller, dry ager and air con
🟢Moduflow Ltd Plumbing & Heating Systems for fitting the plumbing for all washdown facilities

🚛We got us a convoy!🚛

Rush hour in the dispatch yard today as we send 3 Larders on their way!

From our Estate range – they’re bespoke but identical in every way, and are destined for communal use at a number of locations across Ireland.

They’re fully equipped with everything from coat hooks and white boards to remote hoists and a substantial rail system to cope with high through-put.

These have been a great project and the team at Fisher Game Larders are proud to have contributed towards these community assets.

Being collected today is this 6mtr x 2.8mtr dual room Butchery.

It has all the usual facilities, plus food-safe shelving in the Chiller and both stainless steel and poly-top tables are being added too.

Our client is in a particularly remote island location so our modular format offers them a turn-key solution.

It will be ready for them to use to process their cattle as soon as the services have been connected.
