Good morning and happy Friday from Larter and Ford!

This week we have been embracing the change of seasons; getting ready with lots of new stock for autumn and some favourites being back in stock. The autumn window is coming very soon as well - watch this space!

First up we have refreshed our range of coir doormats, bringing in some brand new designs and welcoming back some previous favourites. We also have new designs of indoor mats and runners, including these popular washable internal mats.

Back in stock is Jeyes Freshbin, one of those products that always sells out when we can get hold of it and very timely as I’m getting used to juggling more bins at home.

Finally as a Sodasteam stockist, and of course don’t forget we run the gas exchange service, back in stock is their cloudy lemonade syrup.

Good morning and happy Friday from Larter and Ford!

We are officially in autumn and our plans have been turning to ensuring we have everything you need as the seasons change.

We have been stocking up on all things fire and wood burner related, with a full range of stove rope and glue and stove and glass cleaners along with a wide range of companion sets and log baskets.

If your thoughts have been turning to doing some decorating; we have all you need in stock from a comprehensive range of Harris paint brushes to suit every job and every budget to the amazing Crown Crafted paint range.

Good morning and happy Friday from Larter and Ford!

I hope everyone has had a good week; we certainly have had a busy week preparing for the forthcoming change in seasons.

The Great British Bake Off will soon be back on our screens and in advance of that we have a brand new range of baking and mixing essentials in stock. These are all brand new and include small silicone spatulas in a rainbow of colours, mini silicone whisks and colourful melamine small batter bowls.

Autumn is also all about pickling and preserving and we have everything in stock you might need from preserving pans, the full range of Kilner jars and these great trio of jar sets from Judge which make for perfect gifting for all your hard work.

Also new to us from Judge are these retro kitchen timers which are available in black or red and finally we have some lovely new egg cups and butter dishes in a leaping hare design.

Finally just a reminder as it’s a long bank holiday weekend, we will be open as normal from 9-5 on Saturday but closed Sunday and Monday for us to have a much needed break.

Good morning and happy Friday from Larter and Ford.

It’s been a busy week, we have been making the most of the slight change in temperature with lots of new stock and some re-merchandising of some of the areas in store.

First up and brand new to the market are this range of silicone heritage trivets which not only come in a range of colours they also come in a range of sizes and shapes (and thankfully the stand they go on wasn’t too hard to put together!). We took the opportunity to stock up on colander cups too.

Also brand new are a new range of hand finished porcelain espresso cups which come in 8 different colours and of course I had to stock all the colour range along with two new designs of glass worktop savers.

Back in stock are the really popular Scrubby Sponges, coming in four different colours these 100% cotton sponges are ideal all around the home and are suitable for use on glass and delicate items.

Falcon enamelware also gets an expanded range which includes this fantastic tea can, not only are these practical I think they also just look great.

As an official Osmo stockists, new stock has arrived this week which includes a stock up of their amazing Garden Furniture Oil which is suitable for hard and soft woods and provides excellent coverage and is biocide free making it safe for plants and pets. Brand new to us is Stone and Terracotta Oil which is perfect for outdoor terracotta, slate, granite and limestone surfaces and provides a breathable finish which is highly water repellant and protects against dirt and abrasions.

Finally we have a new range of medium sized trays in a range of different colours and they definitely win the prize this week for the most difficult to photograph nicely!

Good morning and happy Friday from Larter and Ford!

This week we have had lots of new arrivals across the store (and a lot more to unpack over the coming days!) Below are just a few highlights.

First up we had a delivery from Mason and Cash with some new product launches. Brand new to the market are their classic mixing bowls in a new pale yellow colour version, we have these in small, medium and large and they co-ordinate with another new arrival - a fluted loaf pan. Back in stock also from Mason and Cash is their fluted flan dish.

Fuelling my passion for colour, also new in are these 1 pint and 0.5 pint coloured jugs which as you can see come in a lovely range of pastel and bright colours.

Finally two new sets of ceramic grinder salt and pepper pots. One set is glass with a pale blue ceramic top, the other being wooden with co-ordinating ceramic tops.

Good morning and happy Friday from Larter and Ford!

This week I was excited to receive delivery of our bespoke Larter and Ford Cornishware mugs, how none of these have made it home yet I do not know but they are available in limited numbers in the traditional blue and adder green colourways.

As an official stockist of Brabantia products, we expanded our ranges this week and new stock includes dish brushes that include a suction cut holder, sink organisers and toilet brush sets in stainless steel, matt black and cream.

Also new is a window cream which is pink and virtually the same product I remember being used at home to shine windows. Sadly the original product is no longer made but this new version promises the same results.

Finally staying with the household, two new bin ranges are in stock - this boston bin 30 litre pedal bin comes in two different colours and a lovely honeycomb design along with a stainless steel sorting bin which would make a stylish addition to any home.

Good morning and happy Friday from Larter & Ford!

This weekend is really special to Michael and I, tomorrow marks our second year birthday owning the shop and we wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to all our amazing customers, our fellow dedicated and brilliant independent retailers that make Diss so special and of course to all of the community who we have been blown away by the support we have received. Thank you all!

There of course has been no time to celebrate as yet, we have been really busy this week bringing lots of new products into store and below are some of the highlights.

For those of you who follow our page (and if you don’t - please do!) you might have seen a first glimpse at a brand new product range from Stellar cookware. Cast light is a new range which is made up of a frypan, glass lidded saute pan and casserole dish. Cast light is 50% lighter than traditional cast iron and each is enamel coated which means it is free of PFAS and is suitable for all hob types. It comes in two stunning colours, clay and olive and each piece has brushed gold tone handles. As it’s a brand new launch we are price matching this to a well known department store that is known for its price matching as an introductory offer.

Sticking with Stella I managed to get hold of very limited stock of these stunning double walled cafetiere’s at an amazing price, well below the recommended retail price and I’ve added to it new copper toned cafetiere’s and moka pot.

Finally we have massively expanded our range of Crown Crafted paint, again I’ve worked hard with the Crown representative to bring these at an incredibly competitive price.

Good morning!

A sneak peak in advance of next Friday’s post of a brand new product range from Stellar - Cast Light.

These are brand new to the market and we are first on the supplier list to have them. Made from iron but lighter than traditional casting techniques these come in two stunning colours - olive and clay both have burnished gold handles and finishing.

The range includes a frypan, glass vented lidded sauté pan and casserole dish.

They are free of the nasty chemicals and are enamelled inside.

Good morning and happy Friday from Larter and Ford.

It has been a busy week this week with lots of new arrivals coming in throughout the store, below are just some of the new stock we have in.

First up a new flavour syrup joins the Sodastream line up; Red Berries. This sits alongside our existing range of flavours and of course we run the successful gas bottle exchange service for both pink and blue gas bottles.

Stellar homeware is next and their continued expansion of their mug sets. New in are these sets of Bantham Mugs which are a really great size and feel great in the hand.

We have a full range of pest control in store, covering all insects and rodents. Brand new to the market are moth repellent sachets for drawers - each pack contains 16 sachets and last up to 3 months.

Finally two new additions in our range of hardware, assorted grinding wheels which will fit most mains and cordless drills and these really handy magnetic mini-levels that also have a key ring on - I’m hoping it saves me from rummaging around in the drawer every time I want to find my spirit level at home!

Good morning and happy Friday from Larter and Ford!

Firstly thank you for the amazing positing response to our launch last week of Cornish ware. Most pieces I only ordered one of each so stock is really limited, I have ordered more mugs and they will be in stock in the coming weeks.

This week we have been stocking up around the store, including adding to our range of National Trust pieces which include tea towel sets, plant based washing up cloths and these lovely worktop savers.

Our worktop savers come in a range of different designs and the blue woodland one is one of our favourites and we also stock a co-ordinating set of oven gloves.

The weather continues to remain constant, so if you are thinking of a BBQ this weekend these BBQ tool sets, specialist grill scrubbing sponge and sauce pails will all add to a successful BBQ!
