THE BEGINNING
2008 Mark Blundell started Aquafed, primarily as a window cleaning, pressure washing and gutter cleaning company. Until he saw a

gutter vacuum he was carrying out gutter cleaning the traditional way from a ladder. Looking for a safer alternative, he researched the various gutter cleaning systems on the market with the intention to purchase. He felt back then they seemed to be very expensive for what they were and inadequate in tools for the task required. With this in mind, Mark created his own system and once that testing was complete, he firmly believed that he had come up with an efficient system that would not only rival others but would strongly hold its place in the market for the good of the industry as a whole. This was the beginning of Gutter Vacuum Systems Ltd. EVOLUTION
With extensive first hand experience in exterior cleaning, Gutter Vacuum Systems has gone on to evolve into one of the biggest names in the industry and continues to research, develop and pioneer innovative equipment to bring you exceptional products. Our aerospace aluminium gutter clearing poles have been engineered to become lighter for you whilst still remaining strong, they are in fact the lightest on the market with a full 20ft set up weighing under 5 kilos. We introduced quick release clamps for speed of setting up. This was a great idea as you can tell, as other suppliers have introduced this with their systems too! In addition to manufacturing aerospace aluminium poles for you, we also have 100% carbon fibre poles in both a tapered push fit or the clamped option thus providing you strength and durability for those rigourous clears. Our innovative development has manufactured a unique range of accessories so that you can kit your gutter clearing service out with the right tools needed to increase your efficiency.

2020 was a challenging year in many ways. Faced with the global pandemic which affected our production lines, we also overcame supplier issues during that time too. However, through adversity we have grown from strength to strength receiving exemplary reviews and providing more and more homeowners and businesses with full systems to complement their range and enable them to offer a service with professional, reliable products. In the summer of 2020 we also proudly became Trading Standards “Buy with Confidence” Approved.
