At Emerson, we offer delivery and storage to our depot to ensure lift times and projects run on schedule ⏱️

We took delivery of these air conditioning units to our Basildon Depot, which were then loaded onto one of or HGV's for transportation to site the next morning.

With units transported by us, travelling to site and arriving the same time as the mobile crane, removes any delay in the lift taking place and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Delays can happen, and where possible, we want to take that stress off of our customers and enable the process to run smoothly.

The mighty LTM1450 8.1, the largest beast in our fleet 💪

This project stretched across a whole weekend and involved installation of a brand new footbridge over the A3.

The bridge which was designed, built and transported to site in four sections from Hythe in Kent, and was constructed on site before being lifted into its final position.

The Redhill Footbridge, measuring a whopping 58 meters, was the last in a series of eight new bridges to be erected on this huge highway overhaul project for National Highways 👏.

We complete a large amount of lifts for a fast food chain up and down the country, and our LTM1110 was next up to complete this night time project 🌙

On Thames Street in Windsor we were called in to lift HVAC units to the roof of this restaurant whilst it was closed for business. We often work through the night and across weekends to complete many of the jobs.

We are looking back to 2022 when we were working on the Riverlinx Project in Silvertown.

Our LTM1130 5.1 was installing a new conveyor system for the removal of TBM spoil. As the tunnel was excavated, the materials removed were transported away from site on this very conveyor system 🛥️

Across this whole project, Riverlinx removed an estimated 1.9 million tonnes of spoil. This was moved from site via this very conveyor system and directly onto barges. This process of waste removal via the river avoided roughly 110,000 HGV trips on local roads, keeping them running freely during this projects development.

Since the completion of the Riverlinx Tunnel in April 2025, it has eased traffic away from Blackwall Tunnel by roughly 22,000 vehicles weekly 👏

He has been a part of the Emerson team on and off for over twenty years, and along with Aidan, together they man our newest addition the LTM1400 6.1.

A night time project in the heart of Brighton 🌞

The LTM1300 completed this project at night to ensure minimal disruption to the busy roads in the city center, accompanied by a full road closure. Due to the location of the job, and the removal and installation of air conditioning units, safety comes first. And this is the safest way to complete a lift in such an area during the night. 🌙

Working through the evening isn't something new for the lifting industry, and it often works in our favour with there being less hustle and bustle to compete with. Plus it makes for some pretty fantastic photos doesn't it!? 🤩

As we mentioned a little while ago, our fleet is more than just mobile cranes. Although they take up the majority of our day to day work, our other machinery is also in demand!

We were on set in Windsor Great Park this April. Yes, on set! Our back catalogue of work stretches into many realms and this was one we are called on to help with from time to time.

Our Maeda LC1385, a 6t crawler crane, was called in to assist with lifting various parts of a film set into position. This set we were part of was constructing the Church of Elleh, a structure in a game which this film is based on. You can see the technical drawing, which was part of this projects RAM's, for this complete structure in these photos.

Due to the grassy space, the grass needed to be boarded out so we didn't cause any damage to the surrounding area with the tracks of the crawler crane.
