We aid many tower crane er****on and dismantling projects up and down the country. Many take place in London where our head office is based 📍

This dismantling project in London Wall Place, East London involved two of our Liebherr cranes. The LTM1450 8.1 and LTM1090 4.2.

Working together to deconstruct this beast of a tower happened across a weekend, as most tower crane projects do to avoid as much disruption as possible to the surrounding area 🏙️

Both cranes were required due to the 450t requiring assistance for the set up and removal of its luffer which was required for this job due to the height of the tower crane 🏗️

Quite the backdrop for our Liebherr LTM1110-5.1

We are very lucky to be able to see some of the greatest sunsets whilst on site. And this one at Hinkley Point did not disappoint! 🌄

We have had the pleasure of being part of many projects here, and this time our 110t was the perfect fit installing culverts on this part of the site.

Many of our fleet of mobile cranes has worked on this project, and we are proud to be chosen again and again. The relationships we have with our customers and the trust they instill in us is second to none.

Back in April one of our three LTM1230-5.1 machines was on site in Huddersfield, lifting a 30t beam for a replacement bridge as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade for Network Rail

The Huddersfield project is part of a multi billion pound route upgrade which is set to modernise and improve the railway between Manchester, Huddersfield, Leeds, and York 🚆

As with the majority of projects within the rail sector, our part in this transformation took place over the weekend in order to keep disruption to the local area and commuters to a minimum.

As technology has grown and developed in the mobile crane world, so has our fleet. As we upgrade, we asses which models within our fleet can complete multiple projects. Our LTM1230 is one of those. Where the LTM1200 5.1 dominated previously, the 230t has taken its place 🏗️

The newest Liebherr crane in our fleet, the LTM 1400-6.1 has been here there and everywhere since it arrived at its new home at Emerson, replacing our LTM1300

A night project on Saint Martins Street in Birmingham, where our operators were required to work in a seriously tight space. Working on 50t of VarioBallast due to the reduced working space, this project involved lifting air conditioning units and pipe work to the roof of the building.

As you can see from the video which one of our lovely operators sent in, the space was indeed tight!

Due to the technicalities of this project, the 400t was set up with 21 meters of fixed fly to make this lift possible.

As our Liebherr Construction fleet has grown and new technology has been developed, Emerson has worked to stay at the forefront of any new initiatives as they come through.
