South Antrim NAS - Crumlin

South Antrim NAS - Crumlin We are a small local support group run by parents for parents of children with an autism spectrum condition or those awaiting assessment or diagnosis.

The National Autistic Society South Antrim Branch Parent support group was set up by local parents for other parents of children with an Autism condition to have somewhere to meet and come together to support each other. We meet on the last Sunday of the month from 3-5pm in St Johns Hall in Crumlin (opposite the Whins). Any parent or carer of a child or children with autism, Aspergers or any other

autism condition is very welcome to come along to the group. Most months there is a small group of parents who attend. Over a cup of tea, we chat and support each other through sharing experiences and through this find immense help from each other with regard to all sorts of areas including; the diagnostic process, the education system, therapies, other groups, equipment, strategies etc. But most importantly the most benefit from the group comes from having the opportunity to talk to other parents who understand! We hope through this page to connect with more autism parents in the area. We also have a closed group page that you can request to join. Please feel free to ask any questions about the group on the page.
