Underside Restorations — 🔧
We’ve had loads of enquiries about underside work lately, so here’s how we approach it. We work in stages, so you can choose the level that suits your car and your budget.
Stage 1 — Basic (from under £1k)
For cars where the subframes just need some TLC. We replace front and rear subframes with reconditioned units — all in, under £1,000.
Stage 2 — Running Gear (around £3.5k)
For cars where the running gear is past its best. This covers:
Front:
• Reconditioned hubs
• New wheel bearings
• New ABS sensors
• New drive flanges
• New ball joints
• Reconditioned arms with new bushes
• Reconditioned subframe with new bushes
Rear:
• Reconditioned trailing arms with new bushes
• New bearings
• New ABS sensors
• New transverse arms and outer bushes
• Reconditioned subframe
• New diff bushes
• New brake lines
• New bolts throughout
Stage 3 — The Big Bang (around £5k)
Running gear, brakes and suspension — for a car that drives like new. Everything in Stage 2, plus:
• Bilstein B16 coilovers with top mounts
• Reconditioned front calipers
• New rear calipers
• Discs and pads all round
Want to go further?
Believe it or not, we can take it even further:
• Underbody painted while the car’s stripped
• KW suspension if the Bilsteins aren’t enough
• Poly caster bushes for sharper handling
