The Cheriton Fitzpaine PTA has been running successfully for over 30 years. It is a thriving organisation that is dedicated to raising much-needed funds for the school and supporting good relationships between parents and teachers. The PTA helps provide the things that the school aren’t given a budget for, (or not a big enough one), and these essential funds mean that the school can more effective

ly deliver the national curriculum in countless ways. At the moment we are raising funds for equipment for the outside play area at the new school site. Who are the PTA/How can I be involved? Every parent or carer with a child at the school is a member of the PTA. This year’s officers are:

PUB QUIZ in aid of Cheriton Fitzpaine PTA. Sunday, 20th March at the Ring O Bells, The Hayes, Cheriton Fitzpaine. Includes children's round, spotlight round, grand draw and prizes for the winning team. £2 per person. Hope to see you there!

If you were planning to come to the PTA committee meeting tonight, we've had to change the venue to my house. I'll have the kettle on ready for you all at 7:45pm. Hope to see you, whether you are the "old guard" or just a bit curious!

Thank you to all who attended PTA's Bingo night last night. We had an excellent turn out and raised over £200.00! Margaret, Malcolm and the team gave us an excellent evening. Most tables had a winner and even a few consolation prizes! The next event will be the Christmas Fair on Friday, 7th December. Please put the date on your calendar and don't forget to tell your friends. We'll have lots of stalls from which to purchase your Christmas gifts and there will be prizes galore to be won. Not forgetting a possible visit from Santa of course! Hope to see you there.

Don't forget PTA AGM on Tuesday 2nd October this coming week 8pm at School. Our children benefit greatly from the PTA and without one they will miss out on a lot.

Our PTA AGM will be on Tuesday 2nd October 8pm. Please come along and see what we do raising money for our great school and pre school. WE REALLY NEED SOME NEW MEMBERS TO CONTINUE RAISING VITAL FUNDS SO THAT OUR CHILDREN CAN BENEFIT I.E SWIMMING COACHES COST £1600 PER YEAR. Please speak to any of the committee or ask at school reception if you would like more information. Thank you

Just a few reminders: Don't forget the leavers' disco which is to be held in the Parish Hall this Friday night at 7pm.

We'll be assembling the carnival float on Saturday, 21st July at Furzeland, Cadbury. I'll be leaving the village at 11am. Please call me if you can help and would like a lift. Thanks.
