A different approach to building 🏠

For modular construction, choosing materials that meet the needs of the production process can make a real difference.

DMDmodular first used Fibo as part of its ‘Smart Living’ product, with our wall panels selected as the finishing material for their bathrooms. Since then, we have also featured on bigger developments, including a student accommodation project delivered in Sion, Switzerland, where our panels were specified for both the bathrooms and kitchens throughout the project.

Fibo panels are well suited to this method of construction, providing a practical option where time and quality are both important factors to consider.

There’s plenty going on behind the surface of a Fibo wall panel.

Made from seven layers of birch plywood, our panels are strong and robust, with an advanced moisture barrier on the back and high-pressure laminate on the front. When installed with the full Fibo system, they are also fully waterproof, giving you confidence in areas where moisture is part of everyday life.

From our factory to you 📦

There’s more to preparing Fibo wall panels for their journey than simply putting them in a box and sending them on their way.

Once each panel has completed its final visual inspection, it is securely packaged and prepared for distribution, with the relevant handling and assembly instructions attached. Our panels are then stored in a carefully regulated climate to keep them in the right condition ahead of delivery.

We’re also continuing to look at the materials used throughout the journey. As part of our wider environmental commitment, we’ve been working to halve the amount of plastic used in our packaging, alongside reducing energy consumption and production waste.

It’s another important part of the care and attention that goes into our wall panels, right through to their delivery.
