We’ve been out collecting!….

And come back with a trailer load of goodies,

And, ……. I am pleased to announce we will now be stocking machinery, with the first UM280pro front and rear mounted, hydraulic side shift flail in stock now…..it’s a fair bit of kit!

We will adding to the stock over the coming months, and we are but in a position to order machines in and deliver.

July seems to have flown past in the blink of an eye and with that, harvest has too……all bar some spring corn and a few beans we are done here in the south east,

It’s been sunshine, spanners, combines and crocs ❤️

The first time I’ve ever known a year like it and for many farmers a year that isn’t going in the record books….

We’ve had all sorts…..and I’ve got a fair lump
Of Photos to get through and post 🫠🫠🫠

We’ve had engines give up on life and oil pressure due to failed relief valves, Leading to in field engine removals and strip downs

we’ve had fires, we’ve had bits fall
Off that shouldn’t, bits go through that shouldn’t……we’ve even been out to a new Holland combine 😬😬😬

The annual trip to the fatherland at saxham to get parts in a hurry to keep machines rolling,

It’s been a manic few weeks, late nights and early starts but I think we’ve had fun (and a fair few pints on the way back……tax deductible……naturally)…….🙃🫠🫠

Here’s to maize prep…..becuase I’ve got a feeling that might be early too…..

Love an optical illusion…..I’m sure the blades stop and start spinning backwards!….

Apart from trying not to die in the sun, get heat stroke or just melt,
We’ve still been out flying around in the sun keeping choppers moving!….

A jag giving some shear bar setting issues and error codes……

Front off, strip out, new blades and a turned shear bar and a pair of knock sensors and a re set and she was back happy and at it!

Variety is the spice of life they say, and We’ve had a mixed bag this week at Hamm agri…..

Fastracs that think PTO drive shaft deletes at 2000rpm are what all the cool kids are doing these days,

Valtra throttle position sensors thinking 2000rpm isn’t even achievable Because someone hurt its feelings

Manitou drive hubs protesting they’ve got oil in them, and in true French style spraying it all over government buildings the wheels 🇫🇷…..viva la France and snails on toast and all that….. 🫠

Krone rake pinion shafts re-designing gear profiles without being asked…..

And claas lexion thinking it can invade Poland

Edit: not really, it just s**t a straw walker bearing 🙃

And a hand delivered from my daughter demonstrating that coming to work on a Saturday with daddy isn’t that fun……..

We’ve been quiet on the Facebook posting front for a good few weeks, but sneaking around all
Over the countryside doing a little bit of this and that…..

The first of the big girls are out of the sheds and having a little look over to see if anything’s hiding that shouldn’t Be!

We’ve had bits fall off machines that shouldn’t…..bits fall off that make you wonder how they fell off….and bits I tried to take off carefully but fell off anyway…🫠🫠🫠

Anyway, nothing a welder and paint (a lot of paint) can’t hide…..

Oh, and it’s been plus 30 degrees…..so the crocs are officially out for the summer too…..

The Hamm agri sunshine bus tour has continued rolling around the south east and rolled into Spring and the impending grass harvest……

Jaguars and Guinness being the main stopping points during the tour…….

We’ve had another 492 in bits for drum bearings and other assorted jobs,

496’s in bits for general servicing and winter repairs, and a Merc engine miss behaving in another jag.

A few Claas tractors sprinkled in for good measure…..

All fixed with luck rather than judgement…….naturally.

And the company terrorist even had a trip out to inspect the quality of the Guinness

For the anoraks out there, this season marked the earliest I’d ever been out with a forager in march…..they say the seasons are changing and there might be some truth in it!
