Health and safety is never just a tick box for Dyfed Alarms. 🚨 🦺

At Dyfed Alarms, the safety of our engineers, and everyone around them is always our number one priority.
When our team are out on site, you’ll see them fully equipped and ready for the job. Hard helmets, high-visibility jackets, steel toe cap boots, and securely harnessed in when working at height. Because we know, doing the job properly, means doing it safely!
It’s not only the engineers that are leading by example. Our directors and surveyor are just as committed to wearing the correct equipment when visiting site. Whether that be auditing completed work, providing quotations, or talking to customers about their security and safety wants and needs.

Last but certainly not least, is our maintenance coordinator, Robert.

Rob has been part of the Dyfed Alarms team for five years. He originally started as an apprentice engineer before transitioning into a maintenance engineer role. His friendly face may be familiar to some of our long-standing customers. Rob has since joined our office team, keeping our maintenance engineers on task. 🔥

Outside of work, Robert can be found playing guitar, cooking in the kitchen and keeping up with the darts 🎯

Funny, accommodating and helpful, Rob is always at pleased to help. 👊🏼

This week we are shinning the spotlight on our lovely Credit Controller, Tracey.

Tracey has only recently joined our wonderful Dyfed Alarms team. Tracey has a wealth of experience in accounts, over 40 years to be exact! Tracey has been a wonderful addition to the office team.

Outside of work, Tracey can be found gardening in the sun, batch cooking with her partner, and visiting her fabulous family. ☀️

Hilarious, caring and always keen to help, Tracey is always at the phone ready to help.

Sinéad has been part of Dyfed Alarms for many years. Working her way up to becoming not only head of the accounts department, but also the office manager. Sinéad keeps everyone on track throughout the days and always brings a smile to the office staff’s faces with her Irish charm 🇮🇪

Outside of work, Sinéad can we found socialising with friends over a drink, watching the football and spending time with family, both here in Wales and all the way over in lovely Ireland 🍀

Outgoing, friendly and always up to talk about Manchester United, Sinéad is always happy to help regarding any queries you may have.

This week we are shinning the spotlight on our bubbly Sales Secretary, Emily.

Emily has been part of Dyfed Alarms for around a year. Previously working in the tech industry, she brings a whole new skill set to the office team. She has also been responsible for our recent increase in social media presence, all our posts are written with a lot of care and attention by Emily herself.

Outside of work, Emily can most likely be found at the nail salon, shopping, or grabbing coffee with friends or family. And we are almost certain she will be wearing pink! 🛍️

Outgoing, bubbly and always ready for a sweet treat, Emily is always happy to help with any queries regarding our services.

Dyfed Alarms Christmas Closures 🎄

With the year drawing to an end, and the festivities already in full swing, the Dyfed Alarms staff will be taking a well deserved break over the festive period. 🎄

Our last working day will be Tuesday, the 23rd of December. Please note, our engineers will remain on call 24/7 during this time.

Our staff will be back, bright eyed and bushy-tailed on Monday the 5th of January 2026, ready for another year of success and keeping the community safe. 🚨

This week we are shinning the spotlight on our friendly Sales Executive, Paul Stone.

Paul has been part of Dyfed Alarms for over 6 years. He has brought an abundance of knowledge and sales experience, having even worked over seas. 🌊

I’m sure you’ve spotted Paul out in the community in his red Dyfed Alarms car, not only surveying commercial properties, but also domestic.

Outside of work you’ll probably find Paul running, swimming or cycling with his local triathlon club. A dedicated dad and lifelong Swansea City fan, his weekends are a mix of family time and keeping fit.

Energetic, approachable and always up for a chat, Paul brings enthusiasm both in and out of work.

Rhys has been part of Dyfed Alarms for over 26 years, starting as an apprentice, he worked his way through the roles of engineer and installation manager before becoming director 👏🏼

You’ll often find him lending an helping hand out on site, surveying properties, speaking to customers or keeping the office team smiling with one of his famous one-liners.

Outside of work, he’s every bit the proud family man. As many of you will have seen on our socials, he loves supporting his children, and Dyfed alarms is proudly the front-of-shirt and pitch side sponsors for his son’s rugby team! 🏉
