Finally got round to assembling these Long Acumen repros. I won’t be making thousands of these, so get them while they are hot.

I’m a bit rubbish at posting things a make.
One job I’m on with is making the valances for the front mudguard of my 1939 KB24 project.
Am I enjoying the process, or is it doing my head in, I’m not sure! 😵‍💫😝

I’m restoring a 1939 BSA B24 Silver Star. It’s been off the road since 1959. Pre War B series bikes had the much maligned 6 spring clutch. Two of the studs were missing from the hub of this clutch, so today I made two new ones and riveted them in. I step forwards in the 1 step forwards, 10 steps backwards restoration dance! 😵‍💫😝

NOS 66-6104 QD hub/axle pivot.
These have also suffered slightly from damp storage, but are still perfectly serviceable.

NOS WM20 rear brake pedals.
The paint finish has suffered a little from damp storage, but the steel underneath is good.
If you’re building a minty WM20, these brake pedals will give it that ‘factory fresh’ look 😎

BSA WM20 front brake plate (the later type with the longer cable). It’s NOS, not mint, but perfectly serviceable. It was squirrelled away for many years by a friend.

Started to make another batch of spring compressors this morning.

Triumph 3HW pannier rack brackets. Made with the correct uneven side to side offset to allow the left hand side to miss the rear.
