British GT Championship 2026

Rounds 5 and 6 were not short on great action in both GT3 and GT4 at Snetterton, another very hot and dry weekend (even a paddling pool made a guest appearance)!

In race 1, Optimum Motorsport’s Marc Warren and Jack Brown claimed their first GT3 victory with Barwell’s Rob Collard and Hugo Cook following 1.4 seconds behind in their Huracan GT3 with Simon Orange and Marcus Clutton taking the final step on the podium in their McLaren 720S GT3.

In GT4, Race 1’s spoils went to Hadley Simpson and Thomas Holland in their Ginetta followed by MK Racing’s Aston Martin piloted by Jessica Hawkins and Will Orton closely followed by Century’s BMW M4 GT4 driven by Jack Collins and Branden Templeton.

In Race 2, the top 2 positions were occupied by the McLarens. Optimum’s 720S GT3 with Morgan Tillbrook and Ben Barnicoat came home first with Simon Orange and Marcus Clutton in their 720S GT3 less than a second behind. The final place on the podium was occupied by Andrew Howard and Ross Gunn in their Aston Martin Vantage GT3 run by Beechdean Motorsport.

In GT4, Optimum again enjoyed success with their Artura GT4 winning with Josh Stanton and George Gamble driving, followed by Daniel Lavery and Darren Turner’s Aston Martin Vantage GT4 run by Grange Racing by FSR with Toro Verde GT’S Cayman GT4 driven by Ian Duggan and Tom Bradshaw taking third place.

As certain as the sunshine at Snetterton, drivers can always rely on their Brembo Racing and PAGID Racing brakes to give them the stopping power they need in all conditions.

British GT Championship 2026

Here we go again! Brit GT 2026 this year starts at the home of British Motorsport with the Silverstone 500. Another year of a great mix of brands competing against each other, from AMG’s to McLarens to BMW’s to Ginettas across GT3 and GT4 putting Brembo and PAGID pads and discs to the test.

Silverstone came through with the weather, great racing and unpredictability throughout the race.

GT3 qualifying saw 4 different brands in top 4 positions. In the race Optimum’s 720S GT3 Evo took the honours after 3 hours of racing followed by a pair of M4 GT3 Evo’s and Orange Racing by JMH’s 720S GT3 Evo behind.

In GT4, qualify was the opposite, 2 Ginettas and 2 Aston Martins took the top 4 with less than a second separating them all. In the end, Innovation’s Ginetta after battling hard with MK Racing’s Aston took the honours after 3 hours with Optimum’s Artura GT4 coming in 3rd.

Next up is Oulton Park, the biggest question is, will it be wet as always?
