Independent Design House Group acquires Clarkebond

Clarkebond, a UK based multidisciplinary engineering consultancy headquartered in Bristol, has been acquired by Independent Design House Group Ltd. IDHG is an established engineering consultancy that has previously specialised in temporary works design with a desire for growth and a move into a wider multi disciplined consultancy role. Clarkebond provides a vehicle for that growth ambition. In return, Clarkebond can now access a complimentary skills base and an established multinational design infrastructure.

Neil Marks, Commercial Director of Clarkebond, stated: “The opportunities that this deal provides for our staff, the additional services that both companies can now offer and the additional infrastructure that IDH brings to the Company aligns with our vision to provide outstanding engineering for communities and place. It will increase our competitiveness so that Clarkebond can continue in pursuit of that vision and grow to be a stronger and more resilient company.”

🙌 Contract Award! 🙌

We are thrilled to announce we have been awarded two contracts at Exeter College .

1. Laurence Building Refurbishment: 🛠

- A single storey extension to the existing restaurant area with a full fit out. 🍴

- Upgrading the changing rooms including; new benches, suspended ceilings, floor and wall finishes. 🚻

- Full refurbishment of the kitchen. 👨‍🍳

2. CCI Building Upgrades: 🎶

- The existing and new recording studios are undergoing a comprehensive fit-out, including state-of-the-art audio-visual installations and a new lighting rig with stage electrics. 🎤🎧
