Based in Southampton, the Beat School provides individual, group and school DJ tuition to all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a complete beginner looking to learn from scratch, or an advanced disc jockey seeking to fine tune your skills, The Beat School is here to help! All of our courses and lessons ensure that a wide variety of equipment is provided, free of charge, to ensure that you gain ex

perience on several different platforms. Our services are tailored to your requirements and also include advice on preparing a set, track selection and promoting yourself to nightclubs. We offer specialization with digital production sessions run by music graduates, scratch workshops by local DMC winners and in depth mixing tutorials by current club DJ`s and artists. We are also able to offer private one to one and group sessions at your home if you are looking for sessions in a place that suits you. As of December 2013, The Beat School has been partnered with Orange Rooms, Southampton. Our pupils are therefore able to practice their skills on club standard equipment and also have the opportunity to shadow DJ’s for a night at one of Southampton busiest and best venues.
