Are you passionate about lighting solutions and building lasting client relationships? SLV UK, a leading name in innovative lighting, is on the hunt for a dynamic Specification Manager to cover the North.

Location: North of England (Manchester/Leeds/Newcastle corridor) · Field based with travel
Contract: Full-time · Competitive package + bonus + car

The role
Own the specification pipeline across the North for office, retail, hospitality and residential projects. You’ll win positions with architects, lighting designers, M&E consultants and key contractors, then drive conversion through our wholesale partners.

What you’ll do
Build and manage a high-quality project pipeline from prospect to order.
Presenting products, Produce/oversee lighting proposals (Relux/DIALux), schedules and value-engineered alternatives.
Collaborate with national/independent wholesalers to secure sales and delivery of projects.
Forecast accurately in CRM; report on project status, risks and wins.

What you’ll bring
3–5+ years in lighting specification sales (manufacturer or design/consultancy).
Strong technical grounding: luminaire performance, emergency, controls, standards.
Proficient with Relux/DIALux and comfortable with IES/LDT files.
Confident presenter; relationship builder; full UK driving licence.

At SLV Lighting UK, we want to introduce you to the people behind the scenes — starting off we want to introduce you to our Sales Director, Andy Green

With years of experience in the electrical and lighting industry, Andy’s passion lies in helping electrical wholesalers, contractors and consultants find the perfect lighting solutions for their projects. He’s all about building strong relationships, delivering outstanding service, and ensuring every partnership with SLV Lighting is a bright one.

When Andy isn’t out meeting customers or leading our sales team, you will mostly likely find him with a football, still playing football 2/3 times a week and managing his step sons under 15’s team in clevedon he’s never far away from sport.

Let’s celebrate the people who make SLV Lighting UK what it is! Up next will be an introduction to the rest of the team.

Having grown up in Bristol all of his life our Sales Director Andy Green loves the Balloon fiesta as do so many people that live in the south west. The view of the balloons and the iconic Bristol suspension bridge in the background is a must see.

Sadly our budget couldn’t stretch to a real balloon so our online friend helped generate this image but one day the dreams may come true
