At DRG Machinery, we are proud to support our local vital farming and land-based industries. We specialise in the servicing, maintenance and repair of Agricultural, Construction and Ground care machinery and equipment—from tractors and balers to excavators and dumpers and everything in between. As demand grows, we’re offering a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join us as an Apprentice Agricultural Engineer.

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing
As part of your apprenticeship, you will:
• Assist in the repair and maintenance of agricultural equipment (tractors, harvesters, Trailers, Excavators, etc.)
• Work alongside experienced engineers out on-site
• Learn how to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Attend training with an approved land-based college or training provider
• Gain industry-recognised qualifications while earning and gaining practical experience

🎯 What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with:
• A genuine interest in agricultural machinery and engineering
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Agricultural background not a necessity, just a can-do attitude
• This is an outdoor role so need to be happy working out in the elements

✅ What You’ll Get
• A fully supported apprenticeship pathway with on-the-job training
• Regular attendance at college for training
• Opportunities to progress into a full-time qualified engineer role
• PPE and safety training provided
• Be part of a friendly, professional family run company
