We’ve had a fantastic opening for Moulton’s first exhibition in China and have been delighted by the incredible response from visitors, customers, and the wider cycling community.

The “Space and Journey” exhibition explores the relationship between structure, movement, and the Moulton riding experience through original models, sketches, and engineering milestones from Dr Alex Moulton’s legacy.

The launch featured a keynote speech from Moulton CEO Adrian Williams and the world premiere of the new Moulton NS Rapide, unveiled alongside Gary Hunt of the British Consulate General in Shanghai.

Highlights of the exhibition include:

◆ The most comprehensive Moulton collection ever shown in China.
◆ Rare models, prototypes, and original archive material.
◆ A classic MINI featuring Dr Moulton’s original MINI suspension system.
◆ The global debut of the new Moulton NS Rapide.

🚀🌕 What a moment for space exploration!

With Artemis II launching last night on its historic journey around the Moon, the excitement of human spaceflight is truly back. This ten-day mission will carry astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen on a free-return trajectory around the Moon - a huge step forward for the NASA Artemis programme.

And a little closer to home… we’re thrilled to be part of the inspiration here on Earth too.

Our Moulton TSR bike is heading to space (well… almost 🚀). UK viewers can spot it in Channel 4's *Mission to Space with Francis Bourgeois*, where Francis swaps train tracks for star trails in pursuit of his dream of becoming an astronaut. It’s a joyful, heartfelt journey and we’re proud the TSR is along for the ride.

Spring sunshine at last in the UK today ☀️ and fitting images to match. Captured at the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit, this is an early prototype TSR at one of their cycling track sessions.

Moulton bicycles have a long-standing pedigree in both road and track racing, dating back to 1962. Known for their innovative design, they combine the lower rolling resistance of high-pressure tyres with the aerodynamic advantages of small wheels, allowing riders to go faster with less effort. While modern UCI regulations prevent Moultons from competing in sanctioned road races, they have built a strong legacy in time trials, sportives, and ultra-distance cycling, including participation in the Race Across America.

A small detail for the keen-eyed… the Dunlop race garage signage in the background. Dunlop played a pivotal role in the Moulton’s early development, supporting the design and manufacture of tyres and rims at a time when no suitable performance options existed for small-wheeled bicycles. Their collaboration helped bring Alex Moulton’s revolutionary bicycle vision to life.
