Why the T8DC?

Because your lift needs to work around your workshop – not the other way around.

The T8DC gives workshops:

✔ Cable-free operation
✔ Up to 7,500kg lifting capacity per column
✔ 4, 6 or 8-column configurations
✔ Radio synchronisation
✔ The flexibility to move the columns where they're needed

It's the latest result of 45 years of mobile column lift experience.

45 years of learning. One lift designed for today's workshops.

How do mobile column lifts actually work? 🤔

They’re one of the most recognisable pieces of equipment in a commercial vehicle workshop, providing a flexible way to raise heavy vehicles and give technicians access underneath.

A set of individual lifting columns is positioned at the wheels of the vehicle, with the columns working together to raise and lower it safely.

And because mobile column lifts aren’t permanently fixed into the workshop floor, they can be moved when they’re not in use – making them a particularly flexible option for busy workshops.

Our latest blog takes a closer look at how column lifts work and what makes them such a popular solution for commercial vehicle maintenance.

Saving time and getting more done in-house. 🚌🔧

That’s been one of the biggest benefits for Aston Manor Coaches since investing in their own brake testing and vehicle lifting equipment.

We caught up with Workshop Manager Zain to find out why the team chose Totalkare and how having the equipment in their own workshop has helped make day-to-day maintenance easier.

It’s also great to hear Zane highlight the quality of the equipment and the ongoing support from our service team. 👏

Throwback to where it all started…

Before the T8 lifts, before cable-free technology, before radio synchronisation.

There was the RG Series.

In 1980, Totalkare introduced its first mobile column lift, beginning a journey that has now reached 45 years.

The lifts we use today look very different from those early designs, but the idea behind them remains familiar, giving commercial vehicle workshops a flexible way to lift the vehicles they need to work on.

Over the decades, our mobile column lifts have continued to evolve as workshops, vehicles and technology have changed.

The RG Series was just the beginning.

45 years later, we're still lifting.

Take a look back at where our mobile column lift story started.
