🚨people need YOUR help🚨
ONE IN 5 PEOPLE OF THE UK POPULATION (22%) ARE LIVING IN POVERTY. THIS IS 14.5 MILLION PEOPLE.
a slightly different post from the team today but one that we as a company find really important to raise awareness of.
it was reported this week in the Guardian that a food bank in Liverpool has had to start turning people away from their weekly food bank as there are “between 250 and 300 people expected… but there is little to offer them: only 150 parcels of food and a small pile of clothes.”
a food bank in Oldham reported earlier this week that as of July 26th this year their food bank has fed 9,826 people so far this year.
this isn’t us trying to promote ourselves, it is to raise awareness that fellow citizens who live here in the UK are living in poverty. and we are asking you to help by donating anything you can to your local food bank be it personally or collectively as a business.
these predictions regarding the further increases of our energy bills, fuel and food are creeping ever closer and there are already 14.5 million people who are struggling, how many more will there be in 6 months time?
