We’ve had a huge amount of interest in the Number Plate Books we’ve found in our place.

Most of them have gone to local registration number enthusiasts and collectors who came and picked them up.

Since it’s just passed 4 weeks since we’ve been posting on this new platform, we’re hoping to mark the end of the first month of 2021 with a prize for those who have joined us on our journey through social media.

Hi everyone, it’s just myself in today guys!

I hope everyone’s having a lovely Sunday and aren’t stuck anywhere in the snow.

One of our team found some of these books yesterday as we purchased them in the 100’s when they were launched over a decade ago.

There’s been a huge number of you get in touch asking whether these would be up for sale, unfortunately most of them have already been picked up by some of our long-standing local clients. I’ve kept a couple and I‘ve found a few loose ones that weren’t in a box on the same shelf we found these ones yesterday.

I think what would be a better, more fairer option for our Instagram friends would be if we run a friendly Sunday competition and give one away.

So stay tuned for info, I’ll be posting some up shortly and see how we can do this.

It’s always the best feeling when a plate finds it’s perfect home. This one’s been brewing from before Christmas and it’s great that we’ve finally been able to complete on it.

We’re over the moon that the new owner was able to get the car of his dreams and then add the finishing touch to it with this registration.

Many of our deals do take a considerable amount of time to materialise especially as we aim to have some of the best, most suited name plates on the market.

This is not the first time a potential buyer has placed a holding deposit on a registration and then was adamant to purchase a new vehicle for the plate to be assigned to.

Much like “forever homes” our name plates are seen as “Forever Plates” and are truly life changing registrations that once our clients get hold of, may never come on the market again.

We truly hope Asif will be enjoying this reg for many, many years to come and if he ever gets fed up of it we’ll be more than happy to get this one back on our books.

A lovely and short 6 character dateless Irish style name plate:
➡️TNZ 114

This is one of our own stock plates and would definitely look very smart on any vehicle. It is ideally suited to those with the name Tanzia, which is a pretty difficult name to make up using our number plate system. TAN 21A, TAN 214, TAN211A and TAN 2114 being great examples out of which it seems only TAN211A has survived, all others there is no record of and may well have been scrapped and not available again.

We’ve has some interest so far from people with the popular name of Tanzila and Tanzeela. Due to the difficulty of finding a plate for the name we do feel that this would suit the name well. However, please do refrain from using any trickery through the use of screws or modified letters to achieve this.

ℹ️ The dateless Irish style registration has no age identifier and can therefore be assigned to any vehicle, regardless of how old or new it is. This is one of the main benefits of this style reg.

The Northern Ireland format commonly referred to as Irish Plates can also be assigned to vehicles in England, Wales and Scotland. Another great thing about these plates are that they have the letters I or Z in them which can sometimes be incredibly useful to create name plates which are otherwise hard to make with the normal format.

Gone to a good home, this lovely 5 character prefix style reg:
➡️A1 SEC

Not quite the Classic Mercedes SEC we thought it’ll be going on to. Nevertheless, still an awesome initial plate.

ℹ️ The Prefix style registration has it’s age identifier at the beginning of the registration compared to the older suffix style which has its age identifier at the end of the plate. ‘A’ represents August 1983 in this particular example.

The Prefix style ran from August 1983 to August 2001 and was replaced by the Current style format AA99 AAA.

ℹ️ The two numbers in the middle of the Current style registration show the age of the vehicle down to a six month period - March to August and September to February.

The age identifier changes twice a year, on the 1st of March and 1st of September.
‘18’ represents March 2018 in this particular example. This is the format that superseded the Prefix style that ran from August 1983 to August 2001

There is all false information that is going round, people are unfortunately not reading the new standards properly and are interpreting the law incorrectly.

Merry Christmas from everyone here at Eminence Plates.

Unfortunately this year has been a rollercoaster ride for most of us. We are pleased we managed to make it to the end of 2020 and thank God for that.

Our hearts go out to those families who’ve had to suffer a terrible loss of a close one or those that have been in isolation and unable to see their friends and family for most of 2020.

We sincerely hope and pray that 2021 brings back normalcy and all the things we miss about day to day life, like gathering and feeling safe.

A fantastic opportunity to acquire this hugely popular name plate here in the Suffix style:

This name is as popular as our other registration that could be seen to read the Asian name Asif, if not more popular. This reg would suit anyone named Umar / Ummar / Uma, etc. And ideally those with the initial ‘H’.

The beauty of this reg is that it clearly spells out your name followed by your initial and doesn’t necessarily have to be illegally spaced for it to be legible, neither is anyone having to modify letters, etc as the number 12 is commonly used to depict the letter ‘R’ in number plate language.
Another is that it can be assigned to any vehicle newer than August 1969 as oppose to the newer current style registrations. This gives Umar the chance to assign this to a huge variety of classic cars from this era.
