Before any product leaves our factory, it’s gauged and verified to meet exact standards.

No exceptions.

Our final audit systems go further, using advanced poka-yoke technology including sensors and cameras—to confirm every component is present, correctly positioned, and built right the first time.

And if something’s not right? It doesn’t move.

Rejected parts are physically locked in place and can only be released by a team leader once fully identified, labelled, and logged in the system.

Even when working to a tight budget we aim to build quality into our checking processes, no compromises, quality is key.

From a wire‑forming business in William Lander’s attic in Victorian Birmingham, we’ve grown into a truly global manufacturer.

Today, we operate across 7 locations in 4 countries on 3 continents, supplying over 90,000 parts every week to customers worldwide.

Our Birmingham facility is the head office and largest manufacturing footprint. within the group.

The site is focused on manufacturing high quality tube and fabrication products to a wide range of volume levels.

With over 10,000 square metres of manufacturing space, the site mainly supplies products to the automotive, commercial vehicle markets and off highway.

It is home to many of our group central functions including our engineering and development teams. They have been at the forefront of our development of products for alternative fuel systems including EV and Hydrogen Transfer systems which we are supplying to several market sectors.

What our Birmingham site offers:

Processing capability for mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, nylon, and rubber assemblies.

Supplies Fluid and Air Transfer Systems and Structural Assemblies to customers across the globe.

Capacity to support projects from low to high volume.

Tube bending capability up to ø75mm.

Tube bending, beading, welding, brazing, assembly operations and validation testing.

Mild steel tunnel brazing furnace.

On site Product Development Centre for prototypes and pre-production samples.

When you’re manufacturing tubular assemblies over 4 inches in diameter, traditional methods rely on welded elbow sections—and that means high costs, long lead times, and an increased risk of leaks from multiple welded joints.

We’ve solved all of that.

Our BLM Elect 150 Electric Tube Bending Machine transforms the way large‑gauge tubes are produced. It handles diameters up to ø152mm with wall thicknesses up to 3.5mm, delivering smooth, precise bends without the need for fabricated joints.

This investment has allowed us to cut the cost of large‑gauge pipe production for our customers—while significantly improving structural integrity and long‑term performance.

The BLM GROUP Elect 150 is a powerhouse: it reduces process steps, slashes scrap levels, and uses far less energy than traditional hydraulic machines.
