More reason to get a professional Portable Appliance Tester to carry out your tests. I’ve just spent two days testing at a medium sized engineering company. All testing carried thoroughly. 161 items both office equipment and heavy industrial tools, the customer was delighted that serious faults were found. The tester last year only took four hours obviously just putting stickers on and not thoroughly testing.

Pictures of overheating on a Wahl Hair Clipper. CPT removed the plug and replaced with a new plug which is included in the service.
Clipper was then tested and passed within the safe limit of a Class 2 double insulated appliance.
Getting yearly PATs picks up in potential hazards your safety and that of customers and safe is paramount.
