We had another interesting wee clock in a few weeks ago. This time it's a French double-strike Oeil de Boeuf wall clock.
This is what we sometimes call a 'Birdcage' movement due to the fact that the mechanism runs inside an iron frame. The images show the movement being striped for cleaning and some of the work being completed. The final image shows the clock being reassembled.
The clock is now back with it's owner and keeping the time once again.
