We are not a big company.
So when our research and development, general hard work etc gets blatantly copied by others it's pretty crappy.
The fact that we see this as a small company should show you the scale that the Chinese mega copy factorys are operating.
We have a small eBay shop.
We have had multiple items ordered and then copied by the Chinese.
They are not subtle about it.
They use our listing photos, reviews, feedback and even word for word copy our listing descriptions.
Did I know the first time...... No
Do I vet every order from now on..... You betcha.
So if you have ordered an Astra H subframe repair mount from AliExpress or eBay from a Chinese power seller and when it arrived was 150% larger than it needs to be........ Turns out they don't check anything they copy against the actual vehicle.
So to all copy cats out there...... 🖕
Not only will I send you an item that comically doesn't fit. After you've gone through the trouble of reverse engineering it. I will still take your item down.
We have intellectual property rights on all our designs. Doesn't matter what country your vpn says your from. We have won 100% of our takedowns across the world. We apply for takedowns every week.
This is the start of our support British movement.
No we can't compete against Chinese prices. Our electricity prices are hilarious. Our business rates/taxes are one of the worst in the world.
Cost of living is insane.
That's just the tip of the iceberg that is operating a business in the UK.
I completely understand why large and even small UK businesses hand over their manufacturing to Chinese companies.
Unfortunately your only feeding the beast.
The reality is that China doesn't care. In a heartbeat they will sell your product on AliExpress just without the logo.
And if I'm honest. You kinda deserve it.
You sent them your drawings/product to copy. What were you expecting?
