A huge well done to everyone who joined us for last weekend's Women-Only DIY course. It was fantastic to see so many women stepping outside their comfort zones, learning new practical skills, and proudly showing off what they created.

Every workshop is filled with encouragement, teamwork and those moments where someone realises, "I can actually do this!"

It's never just about the project you take home. It's about the confidence you gain, the skills you'll use for years to come, and the friendships made along the way.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along and made the weekend so enjoyable. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! 💛

A fantastic day in Portaferry! 🔨💛

Here's a little glimpse from one of our recent women-only DIY classes in Portaferry.

Every course is filled with women who arrive saying things like, "I've never used a drill before," or "I'm not very practical."

By the end of the day, they're measuring, drilling, fixing, learning new skills, and leaving with a whole new level of confidence.

That's what Building It Better NI is all about. Creating a friendly, supportive environment where women can learn practical skills, step outside their comfort zone, and realise they're capable of so much more than they ever imagined.
