We caught up with Waterspeed Team Rider at DÉFI to talk about competing across disciplines, top speeds, total distance, favourite features, and the data he checks first after every session.

And while DÉFI was already a challenge, Erwan is now preparing for something even bigger: crossing the English Channel at its widest point on a foil, with no sail and no motor.

🌬️ That’s a wrap, Le Defi
This year, Waterspeed was once again part of the action before and during the event — this time with an even stronger presence on site through our mobile booth and activations that helped riders get set up, track their sessions, and make the most of Waterspeed throughout the week.

From the Training Challenges, where riders tracked 41,200 km across 1,006 sessions, to testing live tracking during the races and celebrating the riders who joined the 25 kts Club, DÉFI gave us plenty of moments to look back on.

👉 Open Waterspeed → Tap Show Countdown → Set 45 min by tapping ‚+‘ → Start timer.

⏱️When the countdown hits zero, your session starts automatically. No need to press start.
