Ashbez General Trading PLC is seeking a skilled Accountant to lead our financial and compliance operations.
✅ Key Responsibilities
💻 Accounting: Manage all financial records using Peachtree (Sage 50).
💰 Payroll: Handle monthly Payroll (Income Tax & Pension) per Ethiopian law.
⚖️ Compliance: File monthly VAT, Withholding, & Pension to ERCA.
📦 Inventory: Track stock movements, perform Costing, and manage inventory valuation.
🏦 Banking: Manage bank transfers, LC/CAD documentation, and monthly bank reconciliations.
📊 Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reconcile Z-Reports.
🛡️ Audit: Facilitate year-end external audits and maintain tidy documentation.
🎓 Requirements
Education: BA Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: 2–3 years (General Trading background preferred).
Skills: Expert in Peachtree, Excel, and Ethiopian Tax/Labor Laws.
Salary: Negotiable | Deadline: February 20, 2026
