The project delivers two new parallel crossings to increase capacity and improve traffic flowโ€”forming a landmark cable-stayed corridor over Wadi Laban. It runs in parallel with major upgrades to the Western Ring Road โ€“ Jeddah Road interchange, and features high-rise bridge pylons reaching ~175 m.
In collaboration with WOLFFKRAN, Rigid Engineering Consultants was appointed to engineer the tower-crane tie-in system, enabling safe transfer of crane actions into the bridge pylons across all construction stages.
The tie-in solution was developed for stability up to ~175 m elevation, accounting for Wind effects, Dynamic crane operations and Strict concrete integrity and serviceability requirements throughout staged construction
