At Moamroon Engineering we test to prove, not to guess.
For the Abu Kareem Poster Sewage Pumping Station we performed a full hydrostatic test on the 30 m³ surge (water-hammer) tank by pressurizing it to 16 bar (well above the tank’s normal operating pressure of 10 bar) and holding the pressure per hydrostatic testing standards.
Why test above operating pressure? A higher-pressure hydrostatic test reveals weld and seam weaknesses that normal operation would not show, allowing us to confirm structural integrity and prevent in-service failures.
Result: the tank passed the 16-bar test with no leaks or defects, demonstrating the quality of our fabrication, welding and QA processes.

Moamroon is fabricating, assembling, delivering, and commissioning a 5m³ hummer tank for Awlad Al-Shaikh Pumping Station
Technical highlights: Ø1400 mm × 3270 mm, shell 10 mm, dish ends 12mm, both dish ends and piping (Ø1400) are complete, and assembly is underway in our Katameya facility.
