Last week we celebrated World Environment Day.

Every choice we make – turning off the light, unplugging the phone charger when leaving home, or choosing an innovative, sustainable solution in everyday life or at work – is our responsibility towards the environment and society.

Caljan’s sustainability journey is a conscious choice. We continuously and systematically review our production processes to reduce the negative impact on the environment and move towards our goals:

Four days away from the usual routine can change how you approach the next four years.

Last month, engineers from across Caljan gathered in Liepāja, home to our main production and innovation centre, for four days dedicated to turning vision into action.

One of the highlights was hearing from guest speakers Rudolfs Strelis and Viesturs Sosārs, who challenged us to think differently about innovation, customer development, and how great ideas become real solutions.

The best ideas rarely emerge between meetings. They need time, focus, fresh perspectives, and the right people in the room. Although, occasionally, they show up halfway through a karting lap.

Tires are heavy. Handling them doesn’t have to be.

The Caljan TRT conveyor is designed to make tire handling smoother and less demanding, allowing tires to move easily across the belt with minimal effort.

That means less strain for operators, better flow at the dock, and more consistent performance throughout the shift.

We created an interactive page that traces the moments, decisions, and innovations that shaped the site from a small production setup to Caljan’s largest manufacturing and engineering centre.
