Today we had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Nykredit to our headquarters in Fårevejle, where they presented us with the award Succesvirksomhed 2026.

The award, presented by Nykredit, Spar Nord and BDO, recognises companies that consistently deliver strong financial results and sustainable growth while contributing to the development of their local communities and the Danish business sector.

For us, this award is first and foremost a recognition of the people behind PJM. It reflects the dedication, expertise and commitment that our employees bring to work every day. Their efforts are what make our success and continued development possible.

How much of a machine can be tested before the machine exists?

More than you might think. With digital twin technology, PJM creates working digital models of complete machines or selected critical parts, allowing PLC programs, user interfaces, and machine behaviour to be tested before the physical machine is ready to run.

This means potential software issues can be identified and addressed while changes are still digital, reducing the amount of testing and adjustment needed on the physical machine.

Ultimately, it helps shorten commissioning and get the machine ready for production faster.

At PJM, we take our role in training the next generation of skilled professionals very seriously. We want our apprentices to have a place where they can learn, develop, and become confident in their profession.

So when one of our Automation Technician apprentices chooses to nominate PJM for 'Årets Læreplads 2026' (Apprenticeship Employer of the year) at ZBC Uddannelser, it means a lot to us.

For us, the nomination is more than recognition. It tells us that the effort we put into creating a good apprenticeship is felt by our apprentices themselves.

So, first and foremost: Thank you. We’re genuinely grateful for the nomination and proud to have been put forward.

Now all there’s left to do is keep our fingers crossed!

Delivering a machine is one thing. Getting it successfully into operation is another.

Before a new automation solution can start creating value, it has to make the transition from project environment to the customer’s production floor.

Installation and commissioning are where the solution meets its permanent surroundings, existing equipment, operators and day-to-day production requirements.
And even with thorough preparation, practical challenges can emerge when the solution is installed in its actual production environment.

At PJM, the specialists involved in building the solution also play an active role during installation and commissioning. Their knowledge of the machine makes it possible to handle adjustments on site and work closely with the customer towards a smooth start-up.

Some automation questions can’t be answered on paper.

At PJM, we use Proof of Concept testing to see how critical processes actually perform in practice and where adjustments are needed.

A specific movement, a new handling principle or an unfamiliar technology can all introduce questions that are difficult to answer through engineering alone.

With Proof of Concept, we can isolate and physically test that critical part before moving forward with the complete system.
Because sometimes, the fastest way to reduce uncertainty is to physically test the part that matters most.
