We all need the space and time to compose our thoughts and refocus, often on a daily basis. Too often, silent contemplation is seen as being moody or being lazy when in actuality it simply the case that the person may be overwhelmed and is resetting and reprioritising. Men often need that space because of societal pressures to meet some ideal standard. That pressure leads to sudden venting in a dangerous way if it isn't allowed to be released regularly. Men's clubs, the garden shed, the gathering of men in cafes and roadside tea shops, they are all forms of release for men. My regular method of venting, resetting of thoughts and reprioritising happens behind the wheel of this thing. She lets me move my limbs, and feel the wind in my face and reminds me I'm still alive and have so much to give and do.

NC vent project finally nearing completion. We’ve had some delays due to Covid 🦠 but finally all carbon is cured and clear coated, and ready for milling and final assembly

Our story

Bang & Lazár began its life in late 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The two co-founders, Peter and Dimmer, met thanks to a common friend in the car scene. Their common passion for cars and driving has quickly lead first to a freindship. They soon found themselves jumping into their first joint project - a restoration of an old Miata, a 1.8 NBFL from 2002.

Soon after Peter and Dimmer realised that they equally share a passion for automotive performance engineering. The joint desire to develop their hobby further lead the two car enthusiasts to try their hand at fabricating parts not just for themselves, but for others.

With Peter dailying an NB MX-5, Dimmer having owned an NC MX-5 before, and now a joint Mk2.5 NB project, it quicly became clear that the Miata would become the first test platform for new venture.
