I MADE MY SMART ROADSTER BETTER WITH THIS SIMPLE MOD!

Ever noticed how much the engine moves when accelerating hard? Or wished your Smart Roadster felt a little more responsive when changing gears?

After more than 5,000 km of testing and over 10 prototypes, I finally developed my own front engine mount inserts! 💪

The goal was simple: reduce engine movement without adding too many vibrations to the cabin.

✅ Less engine movement
✅ More controlled acceleration
✅ Smoother-feeling gear changes
✅ Helps support the original rubber engine mount

Smart Roadster as an investment?

Have you noticed what has been happening to Smart Roadster values on the European market lately? The iconic lightweight sports car from the early 2000s is rapidly transitioning from an affordable fun roadster into a highly sought-after modern classic.

Current Market Insights:

Low-Mileage BRABUS Editions: Standard BRABUS and BRABUS Xclusive models in pristine condition regularly cross **€20,000**. Case in point: a prime 2007 Xclusive with only 6,300 km on the clock is listed at **€21,900**.

Collector’s Edition Exclusives: Extremely rare specs like the **BRABUS Collector's Edition** are edging close to the **€40,000** mark! A time-capsule 2006 model with just 410 km on the odometer is currently advertised for a staggering €38,500.

It is clear that collectors are placing high value on well-kept Roadsters, particularly those carrying the legendary BRABUS badge with ultra-low delivery miles.

THIS IS WHY YOUR SMART MIGHT NEED A NEW DRIVESHAFT…
A torn CV boot, grease everywhere, or a damaged ABS ring can turn into a much bigger problem on a Smart 450 or Smart Roadster 452.

This happened to my Roadster — the CV boot completely split apart, grease went everywhere, and the driveshaft was due for replacement.
In my new video, I show you how I removed the old driveshaft and replaced it with a new one.

Does anybody know where this Roadster ended up?
Smart Roadster, dressed in V6 Brabus specification, that's powered by a turbocharged 1.3-litre Toyota engine with 145hp. No, not from a V6 like the concept, but rather a four-cylinder sourced from a Toyota Starlet.
It was listed at auction back in the day for £20k

A rare look at an early Smart Roadster prototype!
