Look at our brand new ASTM A193 Gr. B8M Class 2 Threaded Rods.

B8MSH is the correct marking for B8M Class 2 in the ASTM A193 standard. The difference between B8M Class 2 and B8 Class 2 is that B8M Class 2 has a lower tensile strength to yield strength ratio, meaning it is less susceptible to brittle fracture. B8M Class 2 also has a higher elongation than B8 Grade 2, making brittle failure less likely.
For inch bolts, over 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" diameter, B8M Class 2 has a min tensile strength 90 ksi, a min yield strength 50 ksi, a min elongation of 30%, and a min reduction of 45%. Its max hardness is 321 HBW or 35 HRC. For metric bolts, when diameters exceed M30 to M36 B8M Class 2, the min tensile strength is 620 MPa, the min yield strength is 345 MPa, the min elongation is 30%, and the min reduction is 45%. Its max hardness is 321 HBW or 35 HRC.

We have added a long workbench in our packaging workshop. This will increase packaging speed.
One workbench can pack 150-200 cartons a day. Each carton packing weight is 18-25kg. The number of cartons per pallet is 36 or 48CTN. So we can pack 21-30 pallets a day. This is only part of it, we also have 12-foot threaded bars.

B8SH is the correct marking for B8 class 2 in the ASTM A193 standard. The difference between grades B8 class2 and B8 class1 lies in their heat treatment process. Class 1 is solution treated. And Class 2 is solution treated and strain hardened. Classes 2 material shall be carbide solution treated by heating from ambient temperature and holding a sufficient time at a temperature at which the chromium carbide will go into solution and then cooling at a rate sufficient to prevent the precipitation of the carbide. Following this treatment the material shall then be strain hardened to achieve the required properties.
For inch products, when the diameter over 1" to 1-1/4" B8 class2 has a min tensile strength ksi of 105, a min yield strength ksi of 65, a min elongation of 20%, and the min reduction is 35%. Its max hardness is 321 HBW or 35 HRC. For metric products, when the diameter over M24 to M30 B8 class2 has a min tensile strength MPa of 725, a min yield strength MPa of 450, a min elongation of 20%, and the min reduction is 35%. Its max hardness is 321 HBW or 35 HRC.
